Day-Wise Itinerary

 

Day 01:  Drive from Manali to Niyalag Village and Trek to Mahili Thach

Trek Distance: 7 km approx | Trek Duration:5 hrs approx | Drive Distance: 20 km approx | Drive Duration: 1 hour | Pick Up point: Will be shared a week before starting day | Pick up Time: 9:00 am | Altitude: 10,800 ft

 

  • Commence your journey from the Manali to Niyalag Village, nestled 20 km approx away from Manali.
  • Start the trek of 6 km approx towards Mahili Thach with enchanting views on the trail.
  • The trail initiates with a steep ascent that requires careful navigation.
  • Captivating vistas, including Rohtang Pass, Deo Tibba, Pirpanjal, Manaslu Glacier, Indrasan Mountains, and Bara Shigri Glacier peaks, greet us.
  • Dense forests adorned with lush greenery, pine trees, and several ridges
  • Our night will be spent in the comforting tents at Mahili Thach.

 

Day 02:  Trek from Mahili Thach to Rani Sui Lake, back to Mahili Thach

Trek Distance: 11 km approx | Trek Duration: 9 hours approx | Altitude: 12,600 ft

 

  • An early morning start leads us through steep slopes adorned with breathtaking alpine flowers.
  • The terrain becomes progressively challenging, demanding more from our spirits.
  • Surreal views of Manali and the Kullu Valley unfold.
  • Nature's magnificent display of colors, with the gushing Beas River on one side and the majestic Kullu Valley on the other.
  • Panoramic views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar Ranges cast a spell on our senses.
  • Rani Sui Lake, a tranquil oasis surrounded by vast meadows and verdant trees, awaits us.
  • As evening descends, we make our way back to Mahili Thach for a night's rest in the tents.

 

Day 03: Trek from Mahili Thach to Kasheri Village and drive back to Manali

Trek Distance: 7 km approx | Trek Duration: 5 hrs approx | Drive Distance: 20km |

Drive Duration: 1 km | Altitude: 2,800 m

 

  • A final day of trekking as we descend towards Kasheri Village
  • Upon reaching Kasheri Village, we will drive back to Manali
  • This part of our journey is relatively easy, and within a few hours, we will arrive back in Manali.
  • Choose to spend additional days in Manali, cherishing the memories of this remarkable trekking expedition.
  • Remember to stay well-hydrated throughout the journey to fully enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the Himalayas and the vibrant natural landscapes along the way.
